Wait times

Wait times are 1-2 months. If under age 6, Autism Assessment is done following a Psychology and SLP assessment. These  may increase wait time. 

 

Cost​

We charge a flat rate of $2500 for our QS portion of the Autism Assessment. If under age 6, there may be additional costs for SLP and/or Psychology assessments. Public SLP assessments can be obtained for free but there is often a wait. Private SLP assessments are also available. We have partnered with psychologist, Dr. Duff who charges $1000 for the psychologist portion of the assessment.

​There is no additional tax as this is a health service.

We require a $500 deposit when booking an Autism Assessment to secure your appointment.

We charge $3500 if there is a third party paying for the assessment to cover the additional admin work.

Health insurance plans

Private autism assessment is not covered by MSP. An extended health coverage plan may cover the assessment. We are unable to bill insurance companies directly but will provide a receipt for you to submit to your provider. Speak with your insurance provider about your coverage and ensure to ask about a daily maximum.

​Free assessments

Free assessment are available through the public system with the Vancouver Island Children's Assessment Network (VICAN).  A physician referral is required, the waitlist is ~20 months.
